

Alexis is an Alberta-based cinematographer and camera operator with over a decade of experience in the film industry. A graduate of SAIT’s Film and Video Production program, her work spans narrative, documentary, and experimental projects. She has been an Associate Member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers since 2022 and joined the International Cinematographers Guild (ICG 669) as a 1st Assistant Camera in 2024. A dedicated member of the film community, she has served on the board of the Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers, juried multiple grants, and mentored emerging filmmakers in cinematography through programs such as Herland (2018–2019) and youth camp Write2Film (2024). Recent projects include Skylar’s Comet (2023), which she shot for director Bruce Thomas Miller and screened at LA Skins Fest and the Durango Independent Film Festival, as well as credits on CTV’s Amazing Race Canada and HBO Max’s Back to the Frontier. Guided by curiosity, discovery, and collaboration, Alexis continues to expand her craft while uplifting others in their creative journeys, drawing inspiration from both her community and the natural world.
